Legal in the U.K. too with parental consent and supervision.

If it’s with parental consent and supervision it’s only illegal to give alcohol to a child under five years old.

Was she actually drinking it or just holding it? I can’t imagine someone that age would like Heineken.

Seriously, most kids that age can barely finish 3 or 4 Amstel Lights.

Mixed feelings on this. On one hand, as an Australian, that’s what we perceive as being European. They’re more liberal with alcohol and whatnot. In moderation, what’s the issue?

On the other, growing brains don’t need that.

I remember reading somewhere that teen drinking rates are actually lower in European countries because alcohol isn’t seen as this taboo, forbidden fruit. But yeah, giving a child a beer is probably not the best idea. She could have just been holding it or really yiung looking. My brother is twenty eight and looks fifteen.
